Current commute is quite short at 11 miles round trip, old commute was closer to 54 miles round trip. Fixed at 46x16 and carry everything in a mess bag. I have showers at work, which helps and generally leave a pair of pants there so I can just carry a shirt and gotch enroute. I would occasionally leave a lock at work as I found I'd rarely stop on the commute routes. That helped lighten the load some.
