Which branch are you thinking about joining? It's a good idea (so I have been told) to have a basic idea of military rank and how to salute properly before heading off to boot (or basic).

thanks, i got some good info out of that. im not sure what branch of the british army though, maybe the royal engineers, but im not too concerned about that right now, just getting my fitness up.
