Look at Mel Gibson and his separated shoulder in the Lethal Weapon movies... that's how Aussies do it. (OK, he's only a half Aussie, so he's only half-tough)

OK, no more kidding, i agree, shoulder injuries are very painful. i could not imagine cycling with a broken collarbone, let alone torn ligaments and a separated shoulder.
