Well, maybe it was...
Following our rest stop at the 70 mile point, I got on my bike, started down the road, and after I had rode for a short distance I realized my cyclocomputer wasn't registering. I pushed down to re-seat it, and it started working again.

And BTW, here's a funny story: When we arrived in Bellmead around 10pm someone was shooting off bottle rockets. Since it wasn't the 4th of July or New Year's Eve, we figured they must be celebrating our accomplishment! Of course, we don't live in Bellmead, and we don't know anyone who does, but that's doesn't make us appreciate the accolades any less!
