How bad is it? I usually try to eat more smaller meals to prevent myself from going hungry but every now and then, often 3x a week I find myself not eating for a while and then eating a very large meal. I am not looking for weight loss but more of maintaining lean muscle mass. Is it true that everytime the body is hungry that it needs some sort of food or it will start burning muscle? Is 4-5 hours without food okay if I make up for it afterwards? Somebody knowledgable please chip in. Thanks!
