The purpose of a detox diet is to rid our bodies of preservatives and chemicals in foods that we have been exposed to since the day we're born.

I don't think "a few days" will do it. I think a proper detox takes 1-2 weeks.

With this you have to be very careful and account of certain vitamins you take in - make sure you have enough of all the essentials. Not only vitamins but EFA's and protein also.
