I'm nearly 6'4" with a 34 inch waist, and I just barely got some Performance Ultra bibs in XL and I LOVE them. They are my first bibs, so I can't be sure that this is what good bibs feel like, but they are held up a lot more than the XL pearl izumi shorts I had before, and they just feel good.
