Anyone else remember reading articles of how the Earth was going through a major climate shift that would send the planet into another Ice Age? there is a much more substantial argument that global warming is due to pollution than there ever was that global cooling even existed. from my understanding, that was based on a temporary and short lived drop in earth temp combined with scientists figuring out how the flow of water under the arctic circle affected weather patterns.
