Seriously. I'm baffled. When I got back into this game last April, I topped out at 225 lbs on my 5'10" frame. Yeah, that's a lot to carry. But, I started trending downward, kind of yo-yo'd a little bit but, now -for the past few months- I've kind of stabilized at 194-195 lbs. 30 lbs lost... cool. But even though the weight hasn't continued to fall off, based on how my clothes fit, how many belt notches I have to use to get my pants to stay up, and just my general appearance (I have no more love handles, really) something is still going on. I know about "muscle replacing fat" and all that but just how much muscle have I added anyway? And isn't it odd -to say the least- that I seem to be adding muscle at
exactly the same rate as I'm burning off fat? No, I find that just a bit hard to believe. Any
body want to
weigh in on this one? (
