Endurance athelets such as our selves, should be drinking between 500-750ml per hour of exercise, assuming you are properly hydrated from the beginning.

I imagine this was a 3 hour race no? Sound like you may have been de-hydrated after all.

Our last training ride was 60 miles in 90 degrees plus, I went through 6 bottles during the ride, and drank about 2 liters aftewards, and was still dry as a bone, but im 210 and sweat a LOT.
