When I was racing DH back in 2000, my body armor consisted of a Dianese skinsuit a friend purchased from Myles Rockwell. It was definitely not the baggy style in fashion at the time (or now, for that matter), but it did a great job of protecting my..err, ass..as well as the rest of me, so I didn't really care.

...that was, until one race where the riders were all waiting to be staged at the starting gate, and my buddy Dan reached over and slapped my ass like a football player. Up until then I didn't realize it accentuated one of my more prominent features: my glutes. Thank God a full face helmet hides a blush.
