Old Schwinn questions...

Hey all - first time here. I did a search but came up null, and Google hasn't been much help.

I just bought an old Schwinn World Traveller from a goodwill store for $10. It is a 10-speed in yellow. It says it's made in Japan. There's a "bicycle license" sticker on it for 1975-76, so the bike must be at least that old.

I was wondering how old this bike might be (when were they made)? The bike shifts into all gears fine and shows no rust, but if I needed to service it, are there websites that explain how? One of the tires is starting to crack from age - what size tires do I need to buy for it?

This is the first bike I've had in 10 years - just wanted something to go out and ride on - so I don't know much about bikes in general, and certainly not much about this one. Thanks in advance for any help!
