I ran some inserts for awhile because I had SPD-only pedals on my commuter and wanted the operational flexibility to just ride down to the store with out putting on my bike shoes. They annoyed me because they moved too much, so I put on a pair of these babies....

I didn't like them shifting around either. I now have those campus (dual purpose) pedals on most of my bikes.
