I used the cup/bowl/plate set (
http://www.rei.com/product/739247) on my recent tour and it worked great. I left the cup folded up and stored it inside my cookpot. It was handy as a measuring cup. The plate I never folded up, just used it as a cutting board or tray to make sandwiches on. The bowl was good for cereal or granola. I don't think I used it for hot foods, those were eaten out of my cookpot (with pot cozy).
