In the rack bag...Bike multi tool, mini pump, spare tube, patch kit, key chain tire pressure gauge, medium crescent wrench, pepper spray, tire levers, a small knife, cell phone, a little cash, some duct tape, a u-lock (under the bag) and a hunk of chain with a key lock.

Other gear on the bike...a headlight (that can double as a flash light), tail light and a mirror.

So far, I have not been without anything I needed on either long rides or my commute.

The other day I did pass a guy on the MUP who was having problems. I stopped to help him figuring I would have anything needed to get it fixed up. His retaining nut on his bottom bracket had come loose and the nut on his crank had backed out. I wasn't able to tighten up everything fully (would have probably needed a regular flat blade screwdriver, socket and wrench) but I was at least able to get everything semi-tight and showed him what had loosened up and how to fix it so he could get back home and do the job.
