Venting
First, I am not yet a commuter biker, but I am planning on beginning soon. That being said, can you all let me vent on a pet peeve of mine? This morning as I was coming to work, I was driving west on a four lane divided boulevard. As I was coming up to an intersection, that my way of traffic had the right of way for, I had one of those bicyclists that gives all the rest a bad name decide that the red light that he had did not apply to him. Traffic was light, but there was still some, and he decided to start riding across causing me to have to break heavily to keep from ending his commute right there. Of course, the patient man that I am, laid on the horn and yelled at him to use the light. All of that being said, may I thank all of you who do obey the rules of the road, and I look forward to the day that I can join you all in my commute (I have to be able to work up to a 40+ mile round trip commute).
