I think one's actions as a cyclist can influence how a driver reacts to the next cyclist he or she encounters down the road. I've seen it happen. So if you're an every-man-for-himself, flip-them-all-off kinda person, as it seems some are, then by all means blow through the light.
For me, if there is any other traffic present, I stop and wait. If not, I go through.
