Ti spacers & stem
I am working on building up an old Merlin frame in an old-school all-Ti kind of way, and I want to use Ti headset spacers and a Ti stem that sort of match the brushed Ti finish of the Merlin. Seven makes these things but at obscene prices ($395 for the stem), and Moots has them but with the duller shot-peen finish that doesn't quite look right on the bike. Are there other alternatives that don't have that sloppy made-in-the-basement look to them?
