Long live the dandy!
I've been wearing lyrca for years.... cooler than cotton, wicks where cotton doesn't and my jersey will be dry when I go home where a tee shirt will be a clammy ball of grossness. Sliding across a couple lanes should be, if you REALLY fell you must, done in lyrca/spandex. Though I have only recently gotten comfortable with the tight jersey, the insecurity/vanity of a belly bigger than the rest of me.
