Looking at some Peugeot catalogues on the internet, the bike in question has exactly the same decals, only in different colours, to the Peugeot 1989 Aspin on this page:

Since this decal scheme hasn't shown before 1989, I wonder if this bike is post-1989?
Does anyone know when peugeot stopped manufacturing their bicycles?
