Most times I use a Super Flash or Planet Bike 7 for pack riding and general commuting. It's bright enough, and is easy to install and remove. I even have to aim my Super Flash down for our pack rides.
I'm not sure why I bought the 140L, other than I just wanted one, I certainly don't feel as if I needed one as I find even the PB7 is good enough.
Regardless, that's a good price on what is the iconistic "Killer Tail Light"
