with a civic a class 2 is pointless (in my opinion), although you do see people that thing "Well I have an Explorer, I can tow a three horse slant load with it." Which is true you can tow it, but your Explorer is going to drop the transmittion.
Basically just because the hitch can take the load does not mean that your car/SUV/ect. was designed to pull the load.
(sorry for the rant, but it is really bad in the horse community of people pulling trailers in small (narrow wheel based), underpowered SUVs)
humm.. that's what i was thinking about.. cuz i think class one should be fine.. since i'm just towing my bike.
