i'm 5'10 as well an 18 inch giant is probably the right size. if the reach is too much put on a shorter stem. I like the handling of a shorter stem your milage may vary.. I ride a 19.5 inch trek the reach is about the same as the 18 inch giant I tested.. standover is kind of tight, but standover is overrated.
