Sorry, I'm not that familiar with the grand Sports model. But I would also think most on the forum have a very favorable appreciation for older Ralieghs. They were for alot of us our first experience with the "european lightweight" bicycles. From the Raliegh Sports 3 speeds to the ten speed racers, a Raliegh is a very reputable, distinguished manufacturer of bicycles. A picture of yours would help in identification.
