We bought a nice pair of aluminum Xideshengs there. These single speed bikes with Kendas crawled, but they only weighed in at 8Kg. Not bad for $70, and they had a decent hinge (same as the Downtube) and a decent fold. I vaguely contemplated modifying one, but we sold them instead.
The Dahon Piccolo 3 speed (forerunner to the Curve) was $140.
