Time Trial vs. Climbing, training the same ability?
Is there a difference between what you are training in your body, when you are either training to climb, or time trial? Will the training i'm doing on the local 3 mile climb, also be helping out my time trial? I like training on the climb more than the flats, it's easier for me to keep a high intensity with the goal of getting up a hill, rather than pushing on the flats... but it practically feels the same... frothing at the mouth, lack of oxygen, cross eyed, etc. Will going up hill make me faster in a crit?
