Also I have a problem with my leg rubbing against the twisty thing on the cateye rear mount when attatched to the seat tube. Any way to avoid this?
Not sure of the mount(can't see it), but there may be a way to turn the light 90 degrees? Usually use zip-ties in the appropriate sizes and lengths for all my light mounting purposes.
