Nexus 8 Hub
Nexus 8 with rollerbrake.
Any of you pairs riding with one?
I stole the Nexus off my long recumbent and put it on the tandem.
After one ride…20ks up the bike path.
Love it.
Smooth changes
Can change after you have stopped so always in the right gear.
Puts the gearing from 20 gear inches to 105 gear inches.
My lady is not strong so it’s nice to have that low gear.
The rollerbrake I wasn’t sure I’d like but it’s a great brake and adds to the braking
Over the next few weeks we’ll put lots of miles on it and see if we still like it… but I think from one ride it’s on for keeps.
