I broke two ribs in February in a lame MTB fall. Recovery was surprisingly quick. I rode a Century 3 weeks after the accident. I think it depends a lot on the exact location and circumstances of the break as I know others who have taken over 2 mos to recover.
I agree, have two healing cracked ones at the moment, first week hurt and sucked bad, now its barely noticeable 2.5 weeks later.
