Hello from Allen, Texas

Hi everyone. Bean27 here. Trying to get into riding for exercise. I'm about 40 lbs overweight and hope to help my overall health with some recreational riding. Nothing serious - just riding for fun and exercise. I had a Schwinn Varsity 3 speed from the early 80's that I started riding again. But, it didn't fit me too well, so I got rid of it. It made my neck hurt after about 15 minutes of riding in the hunched over position. After two cervical fusions, I need a bike with an upright riding position. So, I'm looking at hybrid and comfort models. Simpler is better for me.

Regards from Texas,
