I've never been a big fan of stationary bikes since a trainer will allow you to train on the geometry that you ride year round.
That said, if you have the space, it can't hurt. Worst that can happen is that you pass it on to someone else.
The fishing gift cards are nice though. I haven't been fishing in several years and there's nothing better than a fresh shore lunch! Walleye is my favorite.
