Actually, Brian says there's possibly a plan to enable paid members to view ads if we wish. My husband (Sammilove) isn't a paid member, so sometimes when he's on the laptop I'll take over and click through, or I will log myself out and use the PC.
And, there are a few people who have paid memberships (T-Mar, Michigander) but who prefer to see the ads, so there is a special member group just for them

I don't know how much the owners get for a click through, but it's probably not more than a few cents. So, you'd have to figure the economics of $25 upfront, or a few cents per person over how many years?
