You know theory is the highest level in scientific method right? Pretty much the best you can do.
It always bugs me when people says "just" or "only" a theory. Because theory is king in science.
What they mean to say is that evolution is "just a hypothesis" which is technically true because it is impossible to test and prove just like every other hypothesis as to the origin of life.
