Smallest Lightest Saddles-Remember Uni?

Hey All,

I am getting back into racing and am riding a jump bike this winter. Since we NEVER sit on the saddle while riding I am questioning why we use large heavy seats and posts that were designed for sitting. I mean I just need this thing to keep the tube from going up my rear when I crash on it.

I was looking for the Uni one piece seat and posts from "back in the day" and can't find any history of them on the web. Are they still available? Is there anyone else making a super lightweight seat and post combo?

I mean these things were made entirely of plastic and must have wieghed a fraction of a pound. That's what I want now.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Heath
