Definitely learn to do it yourself. Glueing tires is something I just don't trust anybody to do. And for a brand new rim and tire, don't scimp on the glue. There should be a small bead of glue that squeezes out between the tire and rim.

Also, save yourself a lot of work and put masking tape on the braking surface of the rim. No matter how well you have stretched the tire and no matter how careful you are in putting the tire on, you will get glue on the braking surface, and no matter how well you think you cleaned the braking surface, the brakes will still howl and screech. You will immediately be branded as a noob if you have howling brakes.
