OnGuard Rottweiler armored lock - safe?

I've just bought a recumbent trike and am looking for a really good lock. I am thinking about getting the OnGuard Rottweiler, because the trike is so wide, there's no U-lock long enough to lock this to a pole.

Every customer review I've read so far is extremely positive. But one customer said:

"Cons: The chain is easily cut apparently. It may DETER some thieves but by no means does it stop them. I woke up one night when my Scorpio alarm was going off, I find two guys outside trying to steal my bike. They take off and I find my chain has been cut. $75 down the drain."

Anyone else have any warnings about this lock?

Thanks!
