Yay! I finally got a new job! And with it a brand new commute.

Distance has gone up to 14 miles, as I've found a place to live that's slightly rural. I now live on a ridge in the fens, so my commute starts going up the ridge, then a good downhill off the ridge, and then it's flat. Totally and spectacularly flat. For approximately 10 of the 14 miles! I'll have to take my camera out and get some pictures. Wind is going to be an issue, I think.

The new workplace has showers, which I think is going to be a definite plus. And my working hours are 9.30-18.00, so that should be commutable for the next 6 months at least.
