Actually, all the old towns and villages in the fens are on small hills. They were the only bits above water before the Dutch came to help us drain them. That's why the city of Ely's proper name is the Isle of Ely.

Depends which way I go. Either way there are long stretches of single carriage-way 60mph road. One is a major A road, with quite a lot of traffic. The other is a smaller B road, with less traffic, but also slightly narrower. I'm leaning towards the B road at the moment, because I think it'll be nicer. Too many lorries on the A10.
