that's a good idea, hadn't thought of slipping outward.

I have the same Park BB tool for my Veloce BB and can attest to the fact that while those tabs can keep the tool from slipping onto the BB shell, they won't stop it from slipping off the other way (away from the shell). To solve this, I took a short 1/2" long section of copper water pipe and soldered it to to the center of a large washer so that it looks like a short top hat. This allows me to secure the BB wrench to the BB using a crank bolt.

First, I place the BB wrench on the BB collar. Next, I slip on the pipe/washer piece so that the washer presses down on the tabs. Finally, I thread on a crank bolt throught the pipe/washer and snug it up to hold it all together.
