No need to get the rest of us feeling sorry for you. A couple of weeks with no riding and a weight gain of 6lbs. That is not unusual and there is only one person to blame.

Now I have to admit that I do certain long rides and for those I carbo-load. Plenty of Potatoes- Bread- Rice- Pasta and the best bit of all- The sticky buns and Pie. I have put on as much as 7lbs in preparation for a big ride and it has been needed.

Only one thing for it now- All that Weight gain and it has to be worked off. You have 4 days to get the butt in tune for your first 100 miler of the year- You've done the hard bit of the carbo loading so no whimping out- because the following weekend will be the double century on consecutive days.

We'll have you down to 140lbs before the summer comes.
