The crash occurred near the picnic grounds in Stevens Creek County Park. The police car didn't just cross the center line. It crossed through the oncoming lane, then across the bike lane, and crashed into the ditch on the far side of the road. At the crash site, the road was wide with wide bike lanes on both sides. Doesn't make any sense to me.
