I've ridden the trails in Ft. Myers and they pale in comparison to those near Ocala. I agree, I've ridden with people from out of state that are always surprised with the trails down here. What we lack in elevation, we make up for in technical difficulty! Conversely, when I travel out of state and tell people I'm from FL, they write me off! That is until I smoke em through the tough sections of a trail!

I've been meaning to go to Markam Park for a while now! Never get the chance. Seems like whenever I'm in S. FL, I'm not in a postion to bring my bike, and if I'm planning on going riding for the whole day, I always just head north (Ocala area!) BTW, there are some really sweet trails near Tallahassee. Tom Brown Park and The Red Bug Trail to name a couple.
