I haven't seen them built up as track wheels but there's no reason not to do it since they have a 32 hole version. I've ridden the 1.1s but not the 1.2s. From what I've read they are very sturdy and well built at a slightly lower price than the Mavics. I think they'd make a sweet build. go for it.
