bellevue traffic is infinitely worse compared to what i see in iowa city. lots of drivers, lots of suv's, and very little bike lanes. i usually stuck to riding around my nieghborhood and drove when i had to, it wasnt worth the risk. plus the hill to get into bellevue is a pain in the ass.
