I've always known them as 'sew ups', same thing I guess! I rode with a guy that used them on a mountain climb. He flatted and it took forever to get back on the road. Had to fight with the glue what have you. On a clincher, just replace the tube or patch the flatted one.

I think pros race on se up but some have mechanical support. SOme just race onthem cause the like the feel which is supposed to be more supbtle (did I spell that correctly?)
