Trees outside work, Saturday March 8. It was a pretty snow.
Saturday March 15, first ride of the season for the
Rochester Bicycling Club. Afterwards, there was a pot-luck dinner, and pie.
Sunday March 23, Spin Around the Bay with the RBC. This ride can only be done in the winter because on April 1st, this bridge is swung open for the season, allowing marine traffic from Irondequoit Bay to the south (and on the right) access to Lake Ontario to the north (on the left).
Part way down Irondequoit Bay, looking north from Glen Edith. Plenty of ice still on the bay.
On the climb out from Glen Edith. It's much steeper than it looks here. I was wishing for my 12-28 cassette. Even with the granny on the triple, the 23-tooth big cog was too small. Paid for it these past two days.
So, there's my pics. Where's yours?
