Yeah I was at Candlestick. I lasted the entire Men's C and even sprinted at the finish, but I didn't have the power I needed to keep the speed up. I'm number 319. What class did you race?
I think my shoulder hurts because I tried some very long training runs while carrying my bike (like several hundred yards along a "no bikes" section of trail). The bouncing of the bike while running long distances could be the culprit. Shorter run-ups don't seem to be so bad.
