I still use it for threshold workouts (20 min or longer) but I only compare the data to other workouts on similar conditions (eg mostly same fatigue level)
sounds about right.

off the top of y head, i can only recall 3 occasions over the past 3 years where i was working solely off of my HRM, and those all involved climbing/surviving passo giau.
