I stopped using the cadence sensor altogether on the PT. I don't display it at all. I'll look at what the hub records, but the hub can be wildly inaccurate at times. Since the hub generates cadence based on differences in torque, the smoother you pedal, the more inaccurate it can be (or so I've read somewhere at some time).
Re: HR monitor, and minor thread hijack. I still use it for threshold workouts (20 min or longer) but I only compare the data to other workouts on similar conditions (eg mostly same fatigue level)
sounds about right.
off the top of y head, i can only recall 3 occasions over the past 3 years where i was working solely off of my HRM, and those all involved climbing/surviving passo giau.
