Hi ya KC. I ride a Cannondale Silk Path. It's a hybred with a few personal modifications. I wish it went faster, but then again, I think I may be able to fix that once my legs get stronger.
Yeah, training for a century. In the coming weeks, I will not be able to be consistent with training because of work/travel.
The fund raising side of it is still looming for me. I've hit up just about everyone I've ever known- professionally, personally etc.. I have also sold candy. Great bunch of people tho. Our 'coach' is a fanatic on a bike. I'm pedaling my heart out on a hill, near heart attack status and he's just talking away - cajoling me into making it up the hill. I wanted to say "shut up I can do it" but I had no air to breath the words!!
I really admire those folks who are so in shape with their biking.
