That's only a THIRTY pound bike! What are you looking to do to take weight off?

Weight savings on a bike is always the same - if you are willing to lose strength, then you can shave weight. You can also buy premium stuff that cost mad $$$.

So, some Profile 3-piece cranks with Ti spindle can shave some weight.

A new wheelset with Ti spokes and lightweight rims can save some weight.

Seat, seat post, handlebars, stem, everything basically. You can pick and choose stuff that weighs less and cut a few ounces from most parts on your bike. But, after spending about $1,000 or so on the bike in upgrades - you may shave 2 pounds off of it.

OR - Just go to the gym for 20 minutes a day for a month and you will be stronger and able to handle the 2 pounds already on your bike.
